World Book Day

Posted on March 04 2016

This week the children enjoyed World Book Day on 3rd March.

Their excitement and enthusiasm was clearly visible in the wide array of 'people' who arrived at school! Oompa Loompa, Tinker Bells, Robin Hoods, Miss Lion, Mr Men, Princess Anna and Elsa (of course) and the lovely fairies. All the children looked spectacular! Thank you to all for making that extra effort. Not to be outdone, the staff too joined in and we had Princesses, witches, fairies, and lost little girl, Goldilocks! The children had fun with different activities all day - along with the Infants, Reception  and Year 1, the children walked down the ramp in the garden proudly showing their costumes and watching the others too in our WBD parade. There were story sessions of the books the children brought from home and role plays. The children had an opportunity to tell us about who they had chosen to be and why they loved them, not to mention enthusiastic dancing groups too.

All in all a fun day at The Montessori House!
