As the Autumn term draws to a close and the children look excitedly towards the holiday season we have taken a few moments to look back at the amazing achievements across the site.

The building has continued to evolve and develop with the creation over half term of a staff room area and a multi purpose office and sick bay. Looking back, we have the spacious and modern extension for the Infants and the hi tec equipment for the reception children that has also been extended to the all day Montessori children. New and exciting times are emerging with children keen to get involved and eager to share new experiences. Even the Infants are having their first experiences of the iPad. Children have also been proud to be involved in the articles for the newsletters and happy to show their achievements to all.

The front of the school has been enhanced by the addition of the lovely Red Robin bushes and now the school looks even more homely and inviting. The new entry system has given a high degree of security and safety to the building and its pupils.

Reception have settled in well and the children have enjoyed the space and beautiful classrooms as well as the fantastic outdoor space. The children have begun to get to know each other across the years and will greet each other at cross over times and times when they share some garden time.

Sile Milligan has completed her hand over from Amy and has settled well and quickly into her new role. Amy has sent a huge thank you to all you have sent her good wishes and thoughts - not to mention the boxes of chocolates!! We wish her well in her new role.

So onwards and upwards and I wish both you and your families a very happy holiday season.

See you all in January!
