News from the Infant Community (Street Side)

Posted on September 01 2014

In the Infant Community (Street Side), we have been learning about Nursery Rhymes to help promote social interactions.

We have also been learning counting and number songs and have enjoyed talking about different fruits and tasting fruits from around the world, at snack time.

The children are now focusing on insects and bugs and watching the growth of our class caterpillars. We are looking forward to watching them turn into butterflies!

In the garden we have been collecting bugs and have enjoyed drawing and colouring in pictures of bugs, as well as discussing their colours, shapes and where they live.
