Montessori Nursery get ready for the Parent-Pupil event

Posted on April 20 2016

Since the beginning of the Summer Term, the Montessori children have been getting ready for the Norfolk House School and Montessori House Nursery parent-pupil event “A Night at the Museum”. As part of the special event Montessori children have already begun to learn about Queen Elizabeth II and the Royal Family.

The children have enjoyed drawing pictures of members of the Royal Family and have even drawn a Royal Family tree. They especially enjoyed making the Queen’s beautiful golden carriage and Buckingham Palace decorations. Their work was very much a team effort and each child had a chance to play an important part in making all the beautiful decorations.  We are very proud to be able to display such beautiful and informative work by our Montessori children. In particular, the parents will note that some of the drawings of the Royal Family have an uncanny resemblance to their counterparts! Their art and written work has been very much appreciated by their teachers and parents.
