The Montessori children have recently been learning about yoga.  It has been very popular among the staff and the children.  By practicing yoga, the children are learning how to exercise, develop confidence and concentrate better. Yoga is well known for enhancing physical flexibility, refining balance and coordination.  It additionally strengthens the mind and body connection.
“Yoga is beneficial to children of all ages and a lot of fun too” says Mrs Kaur who is our P.E. and yoga teacher. Mrs. Kaur has been practicing yoga for a long time and states that it calms the brain, energises the body, improves the digestion, strengthen the arms and furthermore it’s beneficial for blood pressure. So come on mums and dads it’s your turn to yoga!
