In the Infant community we are now learning about “Our bodies”. We are learning where different parts of our body are i.e head, shoulders, eyes, nose and mouth by joining in with action songs such as Head, Shoulders Knees and Toes, Open and Shut Them and Clap your Hands!
We are making faces for our display and looking at ourselves in the mirror (which we have previously decorated with our hand prints) and seeing what colour our hair and eyes are. This activity helps the children with their communication and language and helps with their creative development as well as learning to take turns and join in with others
