Over the last two weeks we have been learning about Animals as our class topic.
We have coloured in pictures of animals,  stuck cotton wool onto pictures of sheep and glued brown paper on to cow pictures - all different textures for the children to experience.  
Lauren brought in her tortoise from home so that the children could have first hand experience at caring for a pet.  The children gave Scarlett water every day and fresh food.  They all had a great time watching her walk around and getting a chance to touch her shell.  The children recognised the importance of washing their hands after touching Scarlett's shell.
