Infant Community

Posted on September 30 2016

The Infant Community children have settled in well and are all staying and enjoying lunch now. Most of them have learnt their teachers and some of their friends names. They are also getting to know the daily routine, and when coming in from the garden this week, we found them all sat beautifully on the mat waiting for circle time!

The children have done hand prints for the display board. They seemed to really enjoy this activity, experiencing the texture of the cold paint on their hands, and loved the effect of the hand print on the paper.

This activity helps the children with their creative development, and exposes them to a new media. It also helps them to follow instructions and work one to one with an adult.
