Infant Community

Posted on July 01 2016

The Infant Community are concentrating on 'Summer' as their topic for the last two weeks of term. Hopefully the weather will improve and give us some sun! We will be discussing in a group, about keeping cool in the sun, wearing sun hats and sun lotion to protect ourselves and encouraging the children to drink lots of water.

If the weather improves, we will be listening to stories in the garden, and even having our snack outside on the rug. We will be making sandcastles, filling our buckets with sand and turning them out, then enjoying knocking them down again.

For art we will be painting ice-creams, choosing our favourite flavour, chocolate, strawberry or vanilla. As well as colouring summer pictures, shells, buckets and spades, the beach and ice lollies.
