Infant Community

Posted on January 15 2016

In the Infant Community the new children have all settled in well, and are getting to know their new friends and teachers. They have all been exploring their new environment and the garden.
We have been looking at 'Winter' as our topic, talking to the children in a group about the weather getting colder. The need to wear warmer clothes, a coat, hat, scarf and gloves. We have been making sure that we keep warm when in the garden, running, jumping or climbing the scramble net and slide.

For art the children have enjoyed making their snowmen, spreading glue, sticking cotton wool, black buttons and a carrot for a nose. They will then move on to printing snowflakes.
