Infant Community

Posted on November 06 2015

The Infant Community children have all returned to school eager and keen after their half term break. We have been discussing Halloween and what they might dress up as, so far we have had a dinosaur, a pumpkin and a fairy.

For Halloween this week we have been painting pumpkins orange and bats black, as well as colouring pictures of ghosts, witches, skeletons and spiders.
As a group all the children helped empty the pumpkin of all its seeds. They then watched as the face of the pumpkin was carved with two eyes, a nose and a mouth.

The children also have had fun filling a hollowed out orange with jelly and a piece of cucumber to represent a pumpkin which they then got to eat.
