Infant Community

Posted on September 18 2015

We have had a great start to the new term in the Infant Community. All of our new children have settled in really well and are learning the daily routine.  They are enjoying time in our garden, exploring all the equipment we have to offer and getting to know the garden rules.

Our topic this half term is Our School so they are learning each other’s names, as well as the teachers’ names. The children are all interacting well with each other, listening to stories in a group and choosing their favourite song to sing in the circle.

For our display, the children have made their own faces by looking in the mirror and deciding what colour hair and eyes they have, and then sticking them onto their face. Lots of painting, colouring and chalking has also been going on.
