Infant Community

Posted on October 17 2014

In the infant community we are now colouring in ladybird pictures, as we have found lots and lots of ladybirds in our garden.

This activity helps the children with fine motor skills, holding a pencil with 3 finger grip while colouring. It also encourages communication and language about ladybirds e.g their colours and where they are found and helps with their counting skills e.g counting out how many spots they have on their back!!
